National Nurses Week

National Nurses Week is recognized from May 6 – 12 each year.  The American Nurses Association designates this week to honor, acknowledge and celebrate the positive difference nurses make in our country and around the world.  While we do not employ nurses because we are a non-medical home care agency,we work day in and day out with nurses in a “care team” approach to keep our clients safe and well cared for.  Many of the nurses we work with work for home health care companies, hospice companies and some are even care managers.  We consider it an honor to be working with such wonderful clinicians and want to take this moment to pause and recognize the hard work nurses do in providing compassionate care. Thank you!
