Cypress Team Shows Support at Alzheimer’s Walks

Written by: Cypress HomeCare Solutions

Cypress HomeCare Solutions showed our support for individuals and their families affected by Alzheimer’s disease at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the West Valley on October 20 and in Phoenix on November 3. As a team, Cypress proudly joined forces with thousands of people to bring awareness and show our commitment to the fight against Alzheimer’s.

At both events, attendees were greeted by energetic volunteers, sponsors, multiple live bands and the Grand Canyon University cheerleaders, coached and lead by our very own Cypress scheduling coordinator Erin Ditto! After a morning start of hot coffee and Zumba warm-up, we hit the three-mile trail, walking with purpose alongside Alzheimer’s patients, caregivers, advocates and family members.

For our Cypress Team, participating in this cause hits close to home. Close to 50% of our clients find themselves dealing with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, and we are continually striving and committed to finding solutions to meet their individual needs. Coupled with the fact that over 5.4 million Americans are currently suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, with a projected 100 million people worldwide developing Alzheimer’s in the years to come, we find no better time than now to support efforts in research and care for those with the disease. Whether wearing purple on Alzheimer’s Action Day or participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Cypress is proud to help champion the efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association as they assist individuals and families with resources and support.

As a solutions-driven company, Cypress is dedicated to providing compassionate solutions for individuals both with and without Alzheimer’s disease, and we are here to assist in answering any questions regarding the care of your loved one.
