Cypress HomeCare Solutions recently welcomed the President of the National Association of Home Care and Hospice Val Halamandaris to our office. In this interview, our managing partner Bob Roth asks Val two key questions: What is the difference between home care and home health? and What is the future of home care?
In Val’s response, he talks about the five equities that individuals rely on when determining value in their lives: physical, financial, intellectual, spiritual and psychological. Each piece plays an important role in a person’s feelings of happiness and contentment, and need to be attended to at any age. In order to best serve our aging population through these equities, home care will need to have an even greater role in assisting our seniors. According to Halamandaris, the future of home care will be focused on these five equities and ensuring those we care for are well-balanced and comfortable at home. We tend to agree.
