The longest day of the year is fast approaching. With more minutes of sunlight than any other day of the year, why not spend it doing something you love and giving back to the community? During this year’s summer solstice, join up with the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness, generate funds for care and support services, and advance research.
Plenty of Ways to Participate
There are all sorts of ways to participate in The Longest Day. You can decide to create your own team, join a team, host an event or just register on your own. However you want to participate and help out is completely up to you. From here, you can begin fundraising and asking friends and family to help you raise money, all of which goes to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s initiatives.
The beauty of The Longest Day is you don’t have to be somewhere specific to give back. Whether you live in Seattle, Paris, New York or somewhere in between, you can organize an event, sign up for a current event and just focus on raising money for Alzheimer’s awareness and research. If you are not able to make it out on the day, you can simply donate to the cause. Everything you do is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping.
Support Any Time
Did you miss the date, or were you busy on June 21? You don’t have to wait until next year. You can still register for a fundraising drive.
If you are interested in taking part in The Longest Day, head on over to the Alzheimer’s Association page to learn more and register yourself or your team.
