The HCAOA Arizona Chapter had a great meeting on Tuesday! It was well attended with many Chapter members, home care agencies, and members of the community. Representative Heather Carter was our keynote speaker. Representative Carter shared the challenges that are facing older adults in Arizona. Her passion for supporting and making our State a safe place for older adults to age in is palpable. In addition, Steve Moortell, Lobbyist from Lewis Roca Rothgerber, joined us to discuss legislation strategy and how to support and safeguard older adults in Arizona. It’s a great comfort knowing that we have legislators like Heather Carter who truly understand the importance of caring for our older adult population. Thank you Representative Heather Carter.
